Manuscript Handling Processes

First Control Process

  • The submission is reviewed to ensure adherence to the guidelines provided in the preparation section.
  • The article is checked for conformity to the specified template and scientific rigor.
  • For descriptive research, the inclusion of multiple variables is verified.
  • Methodology, data collection, and analysis are scrutinized for accuracy.
  • The potential contribution to international literature is assessed.
  • A similarity check using Turnitin or iThenticate is performed, with a maximum similarity threshold of 15% and a word exclusion limit of five.
  • Articles are checked for adherence to the IMRAD format and are only forwarded to the field editor if they meet these standards.

Peer-Review Process

  • The article is evaluated by at least two PhD-level experts in the field.
  • Referees have 5 days to accept the review invitation, extendable by 15 days.
  • Once accepted, referees have 15 days to complete the review, with a possible 15-day extension.
  • Decisions range from acceptance, minor revision, major revision, or rejection, based on referee feedback.
  • In cases of conflicting reviews, a third referee may be consulted.
  • Referees’ comments are reviewed by the editor, and any biased or inappropriate feedback is disregarded.
  • Authors must revise their manuscripts within 15 days, highlighting changes and providing detailed responses to referee comments.

Publishing Process

  • A publication editor is assigned for a final review upon acceptance.
  • The language editor conducts a final read, with a 15-day timeframe, and may request proof-reading.
  • Authors make final language revisions and confirm the final version.
  • The editor-in-chief gives the final approval before assigning the article to the next available issue.
  • The article is published in early view with an assigned DOI, and no changes can be made post-publication, except for significant issues identified by authors or readers, which are reviewed and corrected as necessary.
